Occupational Health is not a business
cost. It’s the best invention for labor cost savings in 25 years!
Skyrocketing health care costs continue to plague both small and large
businesses. The national price tag for Worker’s Compensation has been
increasing annually at the rate of 16%. Annual corporate yearly health
care benefits are now averaging about $3,400 per employee per year, and
this represents about a 20% increase over the last five years.
Due to these dramatic changes in the cost
of delivering health care, employers are now beginning to recognize the
importance of preventative health care and wellness.
In an effort to help businesses control
these costs, Coastal Health Center has developed an Occupational
Medicine Program. The goal of this program is to help employers decrease
their health care costs while improving employee satisfaction and
productivity.
